Singletrack provides a cloud-based SaaS solution to our customers - investment banks and independent research providers - to help them manage their client relationships, distribute their research product, gain insight into their operational data and comply with market regulation. We are headquartered in London, three minutes walk from Liverpool Street Station, with an office in New York and customers in North America, UK & Europe, Africa and Asia.
Founded in 2009, Singletrack has been steadily gaining market share in a sector dominated by large vendors. In 2016 the top small & mid cap UK brokerage firms, 19 of the top 25 analysts and the no. 1 firm in Ireland are all Singletrack customers.
The Singletrack Development team develops and deploys the Singletrack Edge and Advanced Insights products and implements customer-specific customisation that sit on top of the product. The Client Success team scope and manage customer-specific customisation and roll-out projects.
Both the Development and Client Success teams are relatively small and close-knit. We utilise an XP-based development process and take a whole-team approach: every member of the team gets involved in most areas of development.
As someone who will work closely with the Client Success team to deliver customer-specific integrations, customisations and data migrations, the successful candidate will possess demonstrably good software development skills and technical ability. You will also have a passion for delivering excellent solutions to customers and enjoy working closely with users.
Some experience of working in a professional development environment is required and experience of working in a professional services or consultancy environment is desirable. Experience of working in either dynamic languages such as Ruby or Python, or static languages such as Java or C# is essential (and experience of both is preferred); in your role you’ll likely be working across all of these. Experience of building data integrations and data feeds is highly desirable. You will also ideally have experience of test driven development, continuous integration, pair programming and Limited-Work-in-Progress techniques.
You will work within the Singletrack Client Success team but very closely with the Development team. You will learn new skills and improve existing ones as well as enjoy working in a close-knit, friendly and enthusiastic team delivering a world-class product.
